Mediation is for couples who are divorcing or have significant parenting disputes. Our private mediation process offers quicker and less costly resolution help than hiring attorneys for litigation.

What is Mediation?

Mediation is a series of private confidential sessions conducted by a skilled and nuetral mediator who helps the couple resolve their disputes. The mediator acts as a catalyst and guide to help the couple develop creative agreements which are best for that couple.

Two Types of Mediation:

1. Divorce Mediation: This mediation process helps the divorcing couple to separate their lives in a way which minimizes hurt and increases cooperation, respect, and kindness. If the couple has children, parenting mediation may be included.

2. Parenting Mediation: For parents who are separating, divorcing, or having significant parenting disagreements, this mediation process helps a couple form mutally agreeable parenting plans.

Arrange a Free Initial Appointment:

To arrange a free initial appointment, do the following steps:

1. Since you are reading this page, please ask your spouse to read it also;

2. Then each of you call or email Ralph with your addresses and phone numbers.

I send both of you initial letters which explains the mediation steps;

3. After you both read the letter, please call me to schedule a free initial appointment or discuss any questions. At the end of the free initial appointment, you both can decide if you want to begin the mediation process. There is no obligation or pressure to continue.

4. If you both decide to continue, the first mediation session may begin immediately.
